The market adjustment process is in the final stages of review to ensure accuracy before being posted in late June 2005. The dollar amount to be distributed across the pool is: 1,006,516.38. Distribution is dependent upon time and rank as promulgated in the market adjustment procedure of 2004-2005.
Due to the process of adjustment, contract letters will be available 15 July this year.
We appreciate your support in the work of ensuring that United Academics members are appropriately compensated for the work that they do here in the unique situational challenges that Alaska presents.
Market Committee (Section 15.4.4) A joint Union and University committee formed to analyze salaries and determine the distribution of the calculated pool. The Union and the University may each select up to three (3) participants to serve on this committee.
